List Building - 5 Easy Ways to Multiply Your List Building Super Powers

If you're tired of just not getting anywhere near enough subscribers for your list, then here are 5 simple things you can do right now to turn this situation around faster than a speeding bullet!

1. Add a subscriber sign up box to every page on your website.

If you've got more than 1 web page on your site you simply must do this because you never know which page people will arrive at. Especially if your website has been fully indexed by the search engines.

2. Add a pop-up on exit window (or exit grabber) to your website pages that includes your subscriber sign-up box along with a special offer like a free ebook or audio you give people in return for subscribing.

You can create unblockable popup windows from here for free:
http://popinbuilder.icoder.com

What's great about popups that "only" appear on exit is they don't get in the way of your website content because they're only seen when someone leaves your website.

3. Add a signature file to every email you send out.

Signature files are just simple messages that you can have your email program automatically tag on to the end of every messages you send out. So why not write a quick P.S. with a link to your website? Whilst it won't instantly get you 100's of new subscribers, over time it will.

4. Swap emails with other list owners.

Here's all you do with this one, I'm sure you're already subscribed to dozens of other lists on subjects similar to the list you're building.

Just pick an email you've been sent recently that's part of an ecourse you subscribed to, then reply back with a request for an email swap. In other words, you'll promote them to your list if they do the same for you.

5. Use viral co-registration to put your list building on autopilot

Viral co-registration is simply you advertising other people's newsletter on your website, and they do the same for you... but in a way that grows and expands your exposure and the number of subscribers you get.

Systems like this are very simple to use and when you set them up right you can turbo charge your list building with very little extra work.

What I like about viral co-registration list building is you don't even have to publish a newsletter or ezine. You can advertise anything you're able to deliver by autoresponder.

If you know your way around your favorite HTML and email programs I'm certain you could have all 5 list building multipliers set up by noon tomorrow.

Why Build a List?

Unlike grocery lists or spare parts lists, in the marketing sense of the term, a ‘list’ refers to a list of customers. More specifically, in regards to internet marketing, it refers to a list of emails through which potential customers can be contacted.

If you’ve ever faced a situation where you needed to enter your details (especially your email) before you download something, then chances are that you are, or have been, part of a someone else’s list.

Even large companies that are already very established use email lists of their own to keep track of their customers, and alert them to new developments, offers, and so forth. Of course, this ties in to yet another question at hand…

Why Build and Use a List?

Commonly, not having a list is said to be ‘leaving money on the table’, and that much is certainly true.

Take the example of a conventional clothes store. Customers come, browse around, maybe buy something, and then leave. Once they’ve left, the store has no way of getting in touch with them, and maybe convincing them to come back again.

On the other hand, if the store had their contact details, they could notify them when they have a new stock of clothes on the rack, or special discounts, and so on. By doing so, the customer would then feel compelled to perhaps come back, or at very least would consider doing so.

Similarly, in whatever niche that you’re into, if you had a list of previous customers then whenever you have a new product, or some other offer, you’d just be able to shoot out emails and see if anyone is interested. Simple as it sounds, this is amazingly effective.

Think about it in terms of figures, if that helps. Let’s say you have an 8,000 strong list, and you send out an email regarding your latest product that costs $20. Even if only 10% of your list buys your product, that is 800 instant customers and you would have made $16,000.

To sum it up, the reason to build and use a list is to establish a firm base of regular customers to which you can market your products and offers too with great ease.

Forced Subscription Profits provides you with a different way of thinking when it comes to list building.

Email Marketing For Newbies - In 5 Parts

Email Marketing For Newbies (Part 1 of 5)

Email Marketing For Newbies (Part 2 of 5)

>> How To Get Started!

Merely inserting someplace where email addresses can be gathered and collected is already a first step towards building a list. In general, there are two choices that you’ll be faced with when deciding exactly how and where you’re going to be gathering emails:

1. Creating an Opt-in Page

Amongst those who are honestly going all-out to build up a list, this is the most commonly employed method, simply because of its effectiveness. By creating a separate opt-in page, all the attention on that page can be focused completely on the singular goal of getting a customer to subscribe to the list.

Essentially, the best opt-in pages are those that have no ‘extras’ that may distract from the goal, and so normal advertisements and other links (except at least one leading back to the main website) are removed.

Really, it is sort of like plugging up all the ‘leaks’
so that everything just flows towards gathering up
emails.

Also, having a distinct opt-in page would allow
traffic to be channeled directly to it, maybe even
bypassing the main website entirely. By doing so, the
possibility that visitors will be distracted on the
way to the opt-in page is removed as well.

Thus, the opt-in page gives the customer a two-way
decision: to subscribe or not to subscribe (with
everything possible being done to ensure that the
former option is picked!).

Remember: With an opt-in page, your form should always be ‘above the fold’ (so that visitors will not need to scroll down to see it).

2. Adding an Opt-in Form to the Main Website

Definitely less effective under normal circumstances,
it is still an option that could be considered. In
more some websites, especially blogs, which may not
want to have their traffic leaving the main website
to go off to a separate opt-in page, having the form
as part of an easily located sidebar could even work
just as well.

Of course, doing so does not have the added benefits
of removing all other distractions from the equation,
but it is still better than nothing.

Regardless of which option is chosen in order to build
up a list, there’s one other key ingredient that
should not be overlooked:

Autoresponders

Firstly, it is actually possible to build and maintain
a list without using autoresponders at all. That said,
it would be monumentally difficult, inconveniencing,
and get close to being downright impossible when the
list reached a large size.

Today’s generation of top-of-the-line autoresponders
deal with a variety of functions. Not only do they
store email addresses, but they also have the ability
to send out scheduled automated emails.

Most autoresponders track a variety of statistics
based not only on sign-up rates, but also on the
click-through rates and open rates of emails. In short,
they can do pretty much everything that you’d ever
need done to help manage your list.

Just to get you started, here are the two best
autoresponder services that are currently available:

1. Aweber – By far the most established autoresponder; it has a huge list of features, and also claims to be able to avoid junk mail filters the best.

2. GetResponse – Aweber’s main rival, it is almost as
good in terms of the number of features on offer, and
a lot cheaper, especially for large lists.

Email Marketing For Newbies (Part 3 of 5)

>> How To Build A MASSIVE List!

Once you have your opt-in page (or box) sorted, and an autoresponder ready to go, there is still more that you can do in order to actually encourage a higher opt-in rate. To put it simply: If you want more people to join your list, give them a good reason to want to join your list.

Incentives are the name of the game, and they can come in many shapes or sizes. Give your visitors something of value, and something that could even possibly assert your authority in the niche. For instance, a free report regarding some issue that is faced by many of your visitorswould no doubt be of value to them, and at the same time, by writing one and helping them out, you’d be establishing your reputation as a trusted source of help and information.

If you don’t just want to hand out reports, there are other ways to go about this too. Free newsletters, free one-month memberships (if you run a membership website), free PLR articles or software… the possibilities are pretty much endless. As long as it is something that pertains to the niche that you’re marketing to, then you’re on the right track.

Another equally good way to build up lists is to make
an affiliate program out of one of your products. If
you are willing to give out a large proportion of the
profits, and the product is one that is known to sell
well, then you’ll easily get tons of affiliate
marketers to promote it for you. That way, all these
affiliates will be sending you traffic and subscribing
to your list as they buy your product.

Interesting Note: Building a list in this way is
actually a very attractive option because it creates
a list of already ‘proven buyers’, as opposed to
people just opting in to get a free report.

different way of thinking when it comes to list
building.

================================
Email Marketing For Newbies (Part 4 of 5)

>> Subscribers vs Buyers!

A list of proven buyers is more valuable than just a
list of people who want to get something ‘free’. This
is largely due to the fact that for anything ‘free’,
there are bound to be people who are willing to sign
up who would never actually dream of paying for
anything online.

Still, even if you don’t have a list of totally
‘proven buyers’ there are some ways in which you can
make a list more responsive, and possibly even
convince people to buy. After all, you’re a marketer
– that’s what you do!

Regular Scheduled Emails

One thing that many people sometimes overlook is that a good list is like a relationship – it takes work to maintain it. If you stop having dealings with your list for a long period of time, they’re likely to forget you, and then when they receive an email from you will be thinking, “Hey, who on earth is this guy and why is he emailing me?”

While you definitely want to avoid letting your list lapse into inactivity, you also want to avoid over saturating your list with emails. Starting to send emails every couple of hours would be a very bad idea, especially if they’re all mostly just sales pitches.

Important Advice: A good approach is to never send two sales pitches in a row. Space them out to maybe 1 sales pitch for every 4 to 5 emails, and in between be sure to include freebies or information that is valuable.

If you develop a regular schedule of maybe emailing
your list twice a week or so, and space out your sales
pitches too, then you’re on the right track. If the
emails you send in between as ‘fillers’ contain great
info and freebies, then you’ll even find that your
subscribers are actually eager and waiting to hear
from you at your next scheduled time.

Thus, your relationship with your list can flourish,
and they’ll be much more open to any suggestions of
purchases that you might make.

Catering to the Needs of Your Subscribers

Just now, we covered briefly how your ‘filler’ emails
should be providing freebies and information that is
of value to your subscribers. Truth is, this is just
part of a much larger picture that revolves around
the benefits of appealing to subscribers.

To be completely honest, everything that you send out to your list should cater to the needs of your subscribers as much as possible. Unfortunately, this is where a lot of people stumble, and end up not taking full advantage of their list.

Important Note: Although you might think that you know what your subscribers want, and need, there is nothing like actually knowing what your subscribers want, and need.

So the question is: How do you really find out what subscribers want? Well, apart from paying attention to any emails that you may get, it would not hurt to send out a survey. Sure, it may be slightly tacky, but even if just a few people respond, it will still be a valuable insight into the type of people who are on your list.

If you can continuously be providing products that answer the needs and desires of your list, you’ll find that you’ll be making a lot of sales. While the sales are coming in though, you’ll also develop your reputation and relationship with your list even further, so it’s hard to say which is more valuable.

Long term – a little work spend finding out more about your list could go a long way towards helping your profits.

Email Marketing For Newbies (Part 5 of 5)

>> Divide And Conquer!

When you’re marketing online, your most valuable
asset, prized possession, and biggest selling point
can often be your reputation. Think about it, if
Mr. X released a ‘Killer Article Submission Software’
and Mr. Y released a ‘Super Article Submission
Software’, which would you choose?

As far as reputation goes, Mr. X is a fairly unknown
marketer, but there do seem to be several complaints
about him overly hyping up poor quality software
before. On the other hand, Mr. Y is an upstanding
marketer with a long track record of going out of his
way to help people, and providing the highest of
quality in any software that he attaches his name to.

Who would you buy from?

See, reputation is one of those things that can really make the difference, and everything that you send out to your list is part of that reputation. Admittedly, even the most reputable of marketers have some bad things said about them, but the trick is to have the good outweigh the bad considerably.

Being honest, clear, and helpful to your list is often enough. Also, be sure never to mislead, misguide, or be so engaged looking for a quick buck or two that you forget to think about the bigger picture.

Testing Out What Your List Responds To

More than anything else, testing and comparing the response from your list to various approaches should let you know what you should be doing, and what you should be avoiding. Basically, just learn from your mistakes, and if something works – keep doing it (just not too much!). Some lists respond very well to reviews of products already in the market. Others simply would rather concentrate on what action can be taken within their niche, and then have a plan outlined.

There is no “one size fits all” as far as lists are
concerned, and your testing could reveal what the
‘best fit’ for your niche is.

Maintenance, Pruning, and Sorting a List

As your list grows in size, it is going to need some
work to be kept ship shape. Some of this is the kind
of things that a good autoresponder could even take
care of automatically, but it is worth the mention
nonetheless.

One simple thing to keep doing is ensuring that ‘bouncing’ emails are removed from your list. At some time or other you must have encountered the ‘Failure to deliver…’ type response that you get right after you send an email, and can mean one of two things.

Either the email that you’re sending to is full, or it no longer exists. Whichever the case, if after a few emails the problem keeps repeating, then there’s no point keeping that email on your list. After all, why have a list of 10,000 people if 8,000 of the email addresses are outdated?

Yet another fairly simple step to help increase your lists responsiveness is to ‘sort’ subscribers based on their past buying patterns. For instance, if you have 2,000 or so subscribers that buy high-ticket items fairly regularly, then put them in one group and maybe even give them extra ‘perks’ for being the fantastic customers that they are.

But at the same time, every list surely has its fair share of people that have never bought anything advertised on the list. Some marketers just eventually exclude these people from their lists entirely, but instead, putting them in a separate group and targeting them with the cheapest items would maybe allow you to get some profit out of them. All you need to decide is if the effort is worth it to market to this group.

Really, there are countless other ways in which to sort, or even subgroup your list. For example, if you have a very general ‘make money through internet marketing’ niche list, then you could sort them by subgroups according to their spending habits as far as products related to ‘blogging’, ‘article marketing’ ‘list building’, and so on.

Divide, and conquer!

List Building And Affiliate Marketing Go Hand-in-hand

If you're into Internet marketing as an affiliate for someone
else's program, how are you advertising your opportunity? I
mean, are you just putting out the same old stale page that
everybody else uses, or are you building your own page and list
building at the same time?

Unless it's specifically stated in your affiliate agreement,
and the means you use isn't illegal, such as spamming, you can
use any means to sell a product. Generally, affiliate pages,
emails, and so on are there for your convenience. They at least
get 80% of the people moving, who might otherwise take no action
at all. Here's the thing: 20% of the people will be active
affiliates, and they're having greater success because they're
treating the affiliate program as part of their own businesses.
They're more creative, they get more sales, and everyone's
happy.

Setting up a list building page to sell your affiliate product
is something you should take action on. Give a review of the
product away on your list building page, to entice people to
sign up for your list. If you're going to do that, be sure that
you can stand behind the product, that you have used it, and
proved that it works. The review can be 250 words or less.

Your review should include information on the features that
benefit the user. It should also give the cons of the product.
Nothing is 100% great. Usually, there are small things that you
would change, if you had a magic wand. Let people know those,
too. If your review is too glowing, it won't seem real. Make it
real. Here's what I mean:

Internet marketing expert, Tellman Knudson's My Fist List is an
easy step-by-step list building information product for new
Internet marketing businesses. You will learn how to set up your
own domain and web hosting services so that you can get your
list building pages onto the Web quickly and easily. It also
teaches you to build those squeeze pages without messing with
cumbersome HTML. The best part is how to find a reliable
autoresponder and how to set it up to make money for you on
autopilot. My First List takes all the thinking and questioning
out of list building for you.

The only drawback that some might see is that you will need to
spend money to get the system working, but you know what they
say, "You have to spend money to make money." And in my
experience, paid is always better than free.

But the very best thing about this system is that it works!
I've tried it, and am making money with it already, though I
just bought it last week. How great is that? If you want more
information about MyFirstList, just fill in your first name and
email address and we'll get it to you right away.

This might not be as good example an example as a straight
affiliate page because an affiliate link for MyFirstList would
lead to another squeeze page. People might be shy about
opting-in twice before they even see what the product is about,
unless they're very excited by your review. However, if the
product you're selling has a sales page or it's just to their
main website, writing something like this and adding it to a
list building shouldn't be a problem. This is just an example.

Anyway, after they opt-in to your list and confirm their
membership, the first autoresponder message should be a "thank
you" page. Also give people a bit more information about the
product or Internet marketing program, and an opportunity to buy
or join by including your affiliate link. This is very easy to
do and you should always be list building, any way you can.

Internet Marketing And List Building: Forget Programs, Build Your List

Internet marketing newbies constantly have opportunities flung
in their faces. There are a few that might be good, with good
products behind them, but probably only for a while. Other
programs are just so-so and the owners make a bulk of the
income. Then, there are the Internet marketing scams, which you
should avoid--totally.

Let's continue on the premise that you've found a solid program
and you're really eager to make it work for you. You may even be
making some money from it. But let's think about this: If you
concentrate on it alone, and you're building this huge downline,
what about emailing them? You can't do it for any reason, other
than about company business or you'll be kicked out of the
program. Should you be doing this?

Obviously, you can. Yet, what happens when you've spent all
your time and energy and maybe money on getting this program
really going great. That would be awesome, and you'd have a real
sense of achievement, an income even. Great. But...

Did you know that most Internet marketing and other Internet
businesses fail within the first year? That doesn't necessarily
mean that your program will, but I can almost guarantee that
when there are so many people in it that it becomes unpopular
because there's just no money to be made anymore, it will fail.
Then what? Start all over and do it again?

Here's the thing. Most Internet marketing newbies don't
understand that programs aren't the answer. Even some people
with time online don't get it. There is only one thing that will
keep your business running, and that's a list of customers
behind you, that know you, that trust you, that like your
personality, and that buy. You'll always have a certain
percentage of people on your list that buy what you recommend
because they trust you and know it's a good product.

How about this scenario? You have worked really hard at list
building all the while you were building your MLM business. But
guess what? The MLM dies off and you don't care! You have a list
of 10,000 people who are willing to look at anything you send to
them, and a certain percentage of them will always buy. You can
sell them a product that you develop or become an affiliate for
someone else and sell their products and still have an income.
Can you see how powerful having a list of your own is now?

My best advice to you, especially if you're an Internet
marketing newbie, is to forget the hype. Get away from it and
settle yourself down to building a list. List building is the
only thing that will keep your business going. If you aren't
doing it now, start today! See my resource box for my
step-by-step program. It's a very quick way to get started.

Yet, whatever you do, whether you follow me or someone else,
start list building today. If you aren't going to do that, don't
buy into one more program, get another ebook, or buy more
productivity software. If you aren't list building, you may as
well just close the doors forget it. Ignoring list building is
not an option.

Gift Marketing With Autoresponders And Google™ Adsense

Many people promote their gifts online by using autresponders
and Google™ Adsense. Let's take a brief look at both.

An autoresponder's function is to send out responses
automatically by email to people who have visited your site and
either completed a form (also known as a leads capture form,
generated by your autorespnder) or emailed you, triggering your
autoresponder. The automated responses can then contain
newsletters, ebooks, reports and other types of information
regarding your business.

It is important to think of autoresponders as sales tools. Then
as you increase your use of them, you increase your sales and
marketing efforts and chances for business success.

Google™ Adsense is a program for advertising that is governed
by Google™. It is really quite simple. You insert Adsense ads in
your website or blog content. Then every time that someone
clicks on your ads, you will receive small amounts of money that
can add up to nice extra checks in the mail.

When you combine Google™ Adsense with an autoresponder, you are
giving yourself the edge over your competitors, giving you the
success that you wish to achieve. Your autoresponder messages
can host introductory paragraphs with links that take your
readers to your website pages where you have Adsense ads on the
pages with your gift items.

For example, an autoresponder message might read:

Dear [subscriber],

Welcome back to the Gift Gallery Weekly Ezine! Enjoy our new
article this week entitled,

"Hot Summer B2B Gift Items!"

For great gifts to give your coworkers, boss or friends and
family, visit our reviews of the top 10 Hot Gifts This Summer by
visiting: http://YourDomain(dot)com (…and have this link go to a
page on your site where you have reviews of the gifts plus
Adsense inserted on the web page.)

[Closing message and signature with contact info]

For help writing your ads and learning more about how to best
set up your Adsense campaigns, search articles on "Adsense tips"
to learn more and keep up with any changes in Google™ marketing.
For help with autoresponders – how to set them up and use them

How to Generate Your First Subscriber

As the old Confucius saying goes:

“a journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step.”

The same can be said for building a mailing list:

“the process of building a big & responsive mailing list begins with the conversion of a single subscriber.”

This is even more true with building a mailing list.

Once you learn to convert a single subscriber, you can simply repeat the process again and again.

So what does converting that first subscriber entail? This is what I'll explain in this report.

Offering Valuable Content is a MUST

Now, valuable is in no way synonymous with “unique.”

Too many list owners don't provide enough ORIGINAL content.

If you can purchase high-quality content that is available elsewhere, it is still valuable content, and by offering it, you are giving your customers value. However, if you have the capacity to do so, you may want to create or pay a talented person to create the content for your mailing list.

If you are offering unique content to your subscribers and you can boldly claim that on your squeeze page or in your copy, that will add an additional incentive for them to join your mailing list.

Give Subscribers Immediate Gratification

Often, the most important part of baiting prospective subscribers into subscribing is simply offering some specific item that will give them immediate gratification.

If they've found your squeeze page, it is probably because they were looking for information about your topic or item on a search engine. This means that they are probably looking for the solution to some specific problem. Determine what problem most of them have (note: it is related to what they are searching for to find your site) and then create some specific PDF report or video that addresses that exact problem.

When they opt to join your mailing list, they immediately receive that report or video, giving them instant gratification, and also making them more likely to trust you in the future.

Use Powerful Copy and Psychological Triggers

When you create a “sales page” for your mailing list, there are a number of different approaches you can take:

You can simply create a long sales page with an opt in list at the bottom, as many people have done in the past (and as many people still successfully do today);

or you can create what is called a “squeeze page,” which limits copy and emphasizes the opt-in box.

Whichever you use, you will want to clearly emphasize your mailing list as a solution to whatever specific problem they are attempting to solve.

Additionally, you will want to communicate the exact benefits they will receive by subscribing, along with that benefit that will give them “immediate gratification.”

One of the most powerful tools you can employ on an opt-in page is a psychological trigger. There are a number of "triggers" you can use such as creating urgency, limiting, building curiosity, a "reason why", zeigarnik effect and more.

But the most easiest way to start is by using "power words". These are words that will immediately prompt someone to take action. Some frequently-used power words are words like:

“scientific,”

“proven,”

“tested,”

“powerful,”

“unstoppable,”

“guaranteed,”

and “free.”

All of these words will prompt people to immediately make a decision.

If you'd like a BIG list of "power words" you can grab my WebCopyWordsThatMakeYouRich. It's a FREE resource I created to make your sales pages convert.

Make Them Feel Safe with a “Privacy Policy”

No one needs to tell you that Internet scams are rampant, especially when it comes to so-called business opportunities. Likewise, no one will need to tell this to people reading your mailing list sales copy.

In fact, if you don't give them a reason to believe that you aren't a scammer or spammer, they may simply bet that you are and opt not to join your list.

This is precisely what you need a “privacy policy.” This can be as simple as a disclaimer that states that you absolutely will not resell the person's information or use it to spam. You may want to go even further and include a link to a full page of your Privacy Policy.

So Where Does All of This Bring You?

Completing all of these processes brings you to a point at which you have an opt in page that is ready to convert traffic into subscribers. You should now be past that “first step.” You have automated the opt-in process, and your subscribers should be converting themselves, as more and more traffic lands on your squeeze page. If not, you should test your page and try tweaking it until your visitors begin converting themselves.

Some things you can try testing and tweaking:

Headline

Adding/changing the incentive/bonus for joining

A "reason why" they should join your list.

Now that you have done all of this, you will need to figure out what to do with the people you have converted into subscribers. You have several choices.

Send Subscribers an E-Course
One of the best ways in which you can entice someone into buying is to slowly gain their trust through an ecourse. This is why so many opt-in lists offer a free ecourse. Once the prospective buyer opts-in, the seller then courts them through a series of emails – and finally offers a product or service.

You can take this same exact approach with your mailing list - offer the ecourse, court the subscriber by giving away useful information, and then send them a pitch once you have gained their trust.

It's widely seen to use a 5-7 day/part ecourse, especially with paid products. It has been proven by professional advertisers that people buy on the 5th - 7th time.

Your ecourse should provide meaty content the subscriber can use immediately. Don't offer any heavy products.

Send Subscribers Low-Price Offers
Rather than sending your subscribers affiliate links for every product you've ever seen, wait until you find a gem and send it to them, or conversely, send them a number of useful, but low-priced offers. This is a good way to get them to trust you: once they've made a small, cheap purchase, they'll consider making a larger, more expensive purchase.

Just make sure that your low-priced offers are of high-value and actually share real information - not rehash.

Never Put Greed Above Relationships
One of the most important elements of building a successful list is the relationship between you and your subscribers. Even though you may eventually have thousands of subscribers – most of which will never even talk to you – you can build a relationship with them through the way you approach them in your automated lessons. Consider this carefully before you send out an affiliate link for the newest "this will change the Internet forever" ebook, course or DVD before you've read or watched them yourself.

While short term gains may seem like they could outweigh long term gains, they almost never do in reality. In reality, people who take that approach tend to experience high mailing list attrition rates.

Let's Wrap it Up...
A journey of 1000 subscriber conversions starts with the first subscriber conversion - and a relationship with 1000 subscribers, who you may never talk to, starts by treating them all as you would that first subscriber. Keep this in mind when you build your mailing list.

Start by figuring out what it takes to convert people who are interested in your specific niche. Determine what it is they want. And also figure out how you can reasonably provide it for them. Tricking them in the short run will always be costly in the long run. Instead, plan to build a long-lasting, mutual, and positive relationship with your subscribers. This is the first part – getting that subscriber.

The second part—treating those subscribers as you would the first—is equally as important.

Many people start off with the slick idea that they can build a mailing list with no effort and no investment; and then simply bombard members with offers. This really does not work. Instead, treat all of your subscribers well, and you will find that they will be ready and willing to purchase from you when you actually offer them something of value.

How To Make Money With JV Giveaways Part 2

Now it is time to wrap up your sales page. In this you need to
write a closing paragraph or two that tell more about the
benefits and state that your visitor will never see this page
again. Next you will need to write a small series of post
scripts (P. S.). These will restate the benefits again.

The last part will be to add a link to your free products. This
is at the very end so hopefully new members will read your sales
page. You will also want to put it very close to the post
scripts so they will get a glimpse at the products benefits
before getting their free products. This is where you will name
your free page.

Now that your mini sales page is done you will need to upload
the sales page and it's pictures to your host. Once it is
uploaded make sure the page loads correctly and check your
order button to ensure that it works.

Now you will want to make the remaining two pages that are
needed for your JV Giveaway. Both of these will be really short
and very simple.

The first one will be your free page. This page can be named
most anything since it really does not matter if someone
stumbles upon it. This page will be very simple and consists of
only a thank you message and a link to the products.

Note: It will be easier on you and your list members if you zip
the products being offered in the packages. This will cut down
on the number of links you need to make as well as the number
they need to click on to get their products.

The second and last page you need to make will be your thank
you page. This page is very similar to the free page you just
made. It to will consist of a thank you message and a download
link. The only way anybody should get access to this page is by
buying your OTO.

Now that you have that out of the way it is time to setup your
email list. The first thing you will need to do create your
list. This list can be named whatever you like. You will also
need to make a simple message the member will get when they
sign up.

This message will welcome them and have a link for them to get
their free products that leads to your OTO. You should also be
able to have them sent to the OTO after signing up. The email
will serve as a reminder.

Most importantly you will need to get the code for your signup
form. Go ahead and copy this code to an empty text document for
right now since you will need it soon.

Congratulations the hardest part is now behind you. Now all you
have to do is signup as a JV partner in as many JV Giveaways as
possible. To do this revisit the Limited Time Deals site
mentioned earlier. You should see something that refers to
signing up as a JV partner in each JV Giveaway announcement. If
you do not the giveaway most likely quit accepting new JV
partners.

Find whatever ones you can that are still accepting new
partners and sign up for them. Once you have completed your
registration and signed in you should see a list of links. You
will need to go to the partners area and then click on manage
gifts.

Now simply fill in all of the fields. I strongly suggest that
you copy the contents of each field to the same text document
that you put your form code on. This will save you time in the
long run. Make sure that you choose the option to put your form
code on the JV Giveaways site. This makes it easier on your new
subscribers and you.

You should get an email telling you that your JV Partner gift
was accepted. Once the JV Giveaway launches you should notice
several list signup's each day and hopefully some sales.

You may have to tweak your sales page until you get it working
well. The good news is you will be getting enough visitors to
test and change it daily. Once you get it selling well all of
this will be worthwhile.

It will be fairly easy to build your list by a few thousand a
month if you are in multiple giveaways. So it would be very
wise of you to use your new list to your advantage.

The next time you sign up for a new JV Giveaway send a simple
email to your list telling them about it. Many JV Giveaway's
will supply you with these emails that already have your
referral link in them. When your list members join you can make
commissions on the JV Giveaways OTO.

After you have set everything up making money with JV Giveaways
can be easy sailing. Pay close attention to what other JV
partners are doing and try to mimic their success. The longer
you keep at this the better you will get and the more you will
make. This is one of the easier ways to make money and get tons
of great free products.

How To Make Money With JV Giveaways

It's no secret that JV Giveaways are a great way to get free marketing products. In fact you can get almost any marketing product with resale rights simply by visiting JV Giveaways and simply signing up and joining other marketers email lists. Lets take a look at the other side of JV Giveaways and find out what being a JV partner is all about and how it can make you money.

In order to do this you will need to get some hosting, either
free or paid. You will also need to have an autoresponder, this
can be either free or paid as well. The last thing you need is
to know how to make a simple web page.

The first thing you will have to do if you want to make money
from being a JV partner is get something to sell. The best
place to do that is coincidentally a JV Giveaway. If you don't
know of any JV Giveaways that are currently running you can
check out limitedtimedeals dot guruofinfo dot com.

Once you join the JV Giveaway you will want to find a few
products that are not seen as often and where made recently. If
possible try and find about ten products like this. You will be
taking about three and giving them away and using the rest to
make a package to sell.

In order to do this you will need to know how to make a simple
sales page for your one time offer (OTO), a thank you page, and
the giveaway page. Most JV Giveaways now have the capability to
enter your email list form into their site so you will not have
to make a signup page.

The next thing you will have to do is find a way to gather
emails. You can do this with a script hosted on your site, a
free autoresponder service, or a paid autoresponder service.
Getting a paid autoresponder service like Aweber is always
preferred but if you are on a tight budget you can use a free
autoresponder site.

To find a free autoresponder service to use for your JV
Giveaway simply do a search on Google. You should come up with
several pages of results. The best ones to look for are those
who do not use advertisements in your emails.

The next thing you will need to have is some form of web site
hosting. If you already have a host then you are doing good. If
you would like to get a good host for your business I would
recommend Dream Host. If you cannot afford to pay for web site
hosting then simply find a free one. Like the free
autoresponder try to find one that does not display ads on your
site.

Now it is time to make your simple sales page. This is the page
going to be used for your OTO. New members of your list will see
this page before they get there free products. This will be one
of the two ways that you can make money from JV Giveaways.

Your OTO should be short, sweet and to the point. This page
will consists of a headline, opening paragraph, short talk
about the benefits, list of products with descriptions,
bulleted list of benefits, guarantee, order link, a conclusion
with P. S.'s and the link to your free products.

You will want to start your page off with an attention grabbing
headline and follow it up with an equally strong sub headline.
Keep in mind that you are selling to marketing newbies so try
to keep focused on them. Your headline should point out the
main benefit of having what you are selling. The sub headline
should point out the second best benefit.

You may have to tweak your headline until it is strong since
the pages visitor is not here to buy something. The freebie
crowd is a hard one to get to buy but the key is to make it
cheap and a very good value.

The next part of your page will be your opening text. Make sure
that your first paragraph keeps your readers attention. Your
opening text should be about three paragraphs and tell all
about the benefits of having the products.

Note: It will be allot easier to write your mini sales page if
you have actually read and like the products you are selling.

The third part of the OTO page you will be using for JV
Giveaway's will actually tell the visitor what the products
are. To do this it is best to use a table two cells wide. On
the one side you will want to put a picture of the products
cover. On the other you will want to put the title of the
product along with a brief description.

If you need to find pictures for your products the best way is
to use Google's images search engine. It can be found on
Google's main page by clicking the images link.

The next thing your mini sales page needs is some benefit
bullets. The best way to make your benefit bullets is to
directly reference parts of the products. This will arouse
curiosity in your reader, hopefully enough to buy the books so
they can find the answer. For example do something like the
following.

An easy to use technique that can double your AdSense earnings
in under a week. - Great AdSense Book (p. 32)

Try to do at least one of these benefit bullets for each book.
If you have a hard time finding one for each book it is time to
rethink what you are going to sell. You want the products to be
useful to your customers. If you cannot find at least one good
thing to mention then you should scrap using that book in your
sale.

The next thing you need on your mini sales page is a guarantee.
Most people use a thirty to sixty day money back guarantee. If
you sell your package for low enough though you may never see a
refund request. Just in case though keep enough to refund two or
three sales in your acct.

Now you will need to put an order button on this sales page.
The easiest way to accept payments is to use PayPal. Once you
have signed up or signed in to PayPal you can consult help to
find out how to make your button. I strongly suggest selling
your package for only $5 through $15.

This will also be the time you think of a name for your thank
you page. Use something other than thankyou.html so it is not
to easy to guess. The address to this page will be where your
button sends customers after a successful purchase. Also make
sure you get your payment button encrypted so that others
cannot steal your products.

Now it is time to wrap up your sales page.

Stay Tuned . . . Tomorrow!
